2004 mitsubishi lancer ralliart 2.4 cranks but won't stary

Asked by Shanekierstyn1 Nov 03, 2019 at 05:16 PM about the 2004 Mitsubishi Lancer Ralliart

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

Car cranks but won't start. It doesn't have power to
the fuel pump. I checked both relays and they are
fine. I hooked up the fuel pump to 12 volts on a
booster pack and determined that the fuel pump
works. The harness that plugs into the fuel pump
doesn't have any power to it. Not sure what else to
check.

Update: I got a new ecu relay ( the giant green one in the under hood fuse box) and tried it. The car tried to start but then quit and now wont try to start again so back to square one. Any help is appreciated.
