Question type: Maintenance & Repair

Hello I have a 2003 Mitsubishi Eclipse GS and i was wondering on how to make it run on synthetic oil. I have read that there is fully synthetic and part sythetic and im not sure how to approach this problem. I was also looking at Royal Purple. Can you guys please help me?

Your wording..'how to make it run.." like you have to do something to the car. You don't. Simply choose an oil, and yes the are conventional petroleum base oil, blends, and full synthetics. Any choice will work in your car. Synthetics last longer between changes, but cost far more. Don't know anything about Royal Purple.

Royal Purple makes nice products but expensive- synthetic is also more expensive than regular oil- I think it's all good- it depends on what you can afford- I wouldn't get fancy unless it's a Ferrari
