How does the approx value for trade in calculated if there are $8,000 of added features/packages

If you use some online calculators, adding options and features on the vehicle will increase it somewhat, but don't expect it to add $8K which was full purchase price. Why are you trading in so soon ? You will lose so much by doing so within the first year of ownership. Expect 20 to 25% less than what you paid for the car before tax and fees.
