I am planning to trade in my 03 Galant

Question type: Car Selling & Trading In

and get a newer car that I know I can rely on as I fear stuff will start going wrong with my car soon. It has 63,000 miles and has some dents and needs a little body work and needs to be repainted in quite a few areas. It also needs a new radiator which I bought but am not sure if replacing it will increase my trade in value by much. Is it worth doing and then trading it in or should I just drive it in and trade it in as is?

If the radiator is leaking or causing overheating, then it would be better to replace it. Unfortunately, being 16 years old and in need of body work, you will probably not get much for a trade. You may be better off trying to sell it yourself.

yeah I worry eventually more will start going wrong with it and I have the cash at the moment to start fresh so am considering just getting a new car and going that route.

Yo i hope you still have it I sold mine for 500 and now I regret it it had 200k miles and I would never change the oil just top it up every time the oil light came on What I’m trying to say is that that car was bulletproof I had a bmw that would get all the maintenance and the galant was my daily that u didn’t care for and now I’m back looking for a beater car when I had that 04 galant
