spark plug replacement

My Montero Sport has 135,000 miles on it. It is starting to buck a little at lower speeds. My mechanic says its the spark plugs. He also said that the plugs and wires are difficult to change.Any remedies?

yeah...deal with the pain of changing them yourself or have a shop do it.

I also need to replace the spark plug wires (do to some hungry rats). How do I remove the part that covers the wires. Replacing them is not an issue its actually getting access to them that I need help with. Chase your comment was of absolutely no value thanks for your imput~ Thanks Lori
