what is the part that holds up the trunk of the vehicle?

looking for the part but don't know what it is called that holds up the trunk at the back side of the car?

the rear part of the chassis has two pockets that contain the hinges and the torsional spring~yes, part of the frame~

I thought it is call HATCH something it is the black color not the hinges.

strut its available at most parts supply retail stores if you know the year and model.
