Every time that i stop at a red light the tempeture rises but every time i acelerate it goes back to normal.

Your car is telling you to Check engine flashing code,go and have this checked,your car is running a little warmer than normal all so,could be bad thermostat,water pump going out,or as simple as low coolant,that said go get it checked quick,it will cost you way more later if you don,t. Good luck with it.
Temp possibly rising at the red light due to the radiator fans not running. Inspect fans to see if they are coming on when at idle and engine is hot. Also check if they come on when ac is turned on. If they not its possibly a bad fan motor or relay. Also check engine coolant level. What lights are flashing? Check engine light? Head lights? Instrument cluster lights?

On another subject. How many miles on your car? Has your timing belt been replaced? Should be replaced at 60K. You have an interference engine if timing belt not replaced and it breaks or jumps time you will end up with serious engine damage. Also your water pump is ran by your timing belt. Over heat symptoms can actually be the timing belt slipping on the water pump. Just food for thought.
Oh ok. Check all battery connections they must be clean and tight. Specially check the negative battery cable where it attaches to the frame and motor. These cars are known for issues with the negative connections. Also swap you head light relay with one of the others. See if lights stop blinking on and off. If so buy new relay.

Oh ok. Then for the overheating issues check the fans and the coolant level. Inspect two large radiator hoses. Make sure they not collapsing. If they are replace them.
Did you replace your water pump when you did your timing belt?
Opps. Ok. I don't think the water pump is your issue but it is something to keep in the back of your mind. But if for any reason you have to go back into the timing belt area please replace your water pump. It should be replaced when belt is replaced. And if you buy a lifetime warranty water pump every time you do replace the timing belt all you have to do is swap you water pump for a new one at no cost to you other than the labor and most times there is little or no extra charge to replace the pump when doing a timing change cause it's already figured in.
My car 2002 did the same when I first got it. I changed the thermostat and water pump plus oil pump. Still did it. My relay for my fans were bad.. But till I got the new relay I just pushed the center ac knob in right before I would stop( doesn't matter heat or ac) as long as the green light pops on,, your fans are on. Use antifreeze no water and no half and half bullshit.. Half and half will rust out the inside of your radiator after a while and not really a good source of coolant. It's just cheap..
