It should be in the glove box, possibly in the manual, or a sticker on the side of the glove box.
I hate to say it but I know for a fact that the dealership can get the code for you. If you are so inclined you can remove just enough of the dash to see the code/serial# on top of the stereo. Then phone the dealership and give them the vin# of the car and the serial# of the stereo. (This works for any Mitsubishi stereo!!!) If you are not dealing with an idiot you will be able to get the code with these two numbers. The process of entering the code may be more difficult, so if you are not so inclined you might just have to pay to have it done. * If you play with the stereo and don't know the code you might "lock it" don't bring it in to the dealership right away.* Leave the ignition key on for a couple of hours with the stereo on (use a battery charger at the same time) you don't want to kill the battery. This sounds stupid but the dealership will charge you extra if you screwed around trying to guess the code and accidentally locked the stereo. THIS DOESN"T APPLY TO EVERY FACTORY STEREO!!! every one is different so the best thing to do is Ask. I hope this helps!!!
