Did the rear control arm change?

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I was told by a mechanic that the "rear control arm bushings are very loose" and that
they should be replaced asap.  After looking up replacement control arms I found
that the pictures do not match up with what is on the car.  The replacements have a
ball joint while the current ones do not.  Three different websites show the same
thing.  Did the design change?  How difficult is it to just replace the bushings?

call up a Dealer with your vin number, get the part number they have listed for that part for your car, then go online and do a part number match for the part. that will be the easiest and fast way to do what you need right now.
