I have a leaking water pump

Asked by Erick Nov 21, 2018 at 09:37 PM about the 2001 Mitsubishi Eclipse RS

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

On a 2001 mitsubishi eclipse 2.4l automatic RS. My question is my mechanic
suggested a full timing tune up, should I listen to him or just get the water pump
replaced? The mileage is 141931, and I don't know if the previous owner or
dealership had done one yet..

It would be a good idea to change all that out. Doubt it was done already in the past but could be wrong there.
