Running, or driving? If the sound is when the vehicle is not moving, it could be anywhere from an engine bearing in the bottom end of the motor, to a pulley bearing or alternator bearing. If it is when driving, suspect a wheel bearing or perhaps a CV axle.
If its when running ( not driving) you can tell where the noise is walking around the veh. If its when its just running-( you don't have to drive it) to hear the noise. You can use a large screw driver or tire iron like a stethescope. Touch one end to motor and one by your ear. You can hear a problem with your motor just as a doctor a cold.
