8g galant 5 speed swap

Hey I am thinking about swapping a 5 speed tranny into my 8g auto galant. I know it has
been done before with great success. Could I get the complete list of items needed for the
swap? (i.e. tranny,flywheel and etc.) Thanks everyone !

I would advise finding a 3G 2000-2005 eclipse as a donor vehicle. Should be able to find one for fairly cheap. It will have all the items you will need to do the swap. Their 5speed trans will bolt to your engine. You will need to use the flywheel off the eclipse to bolt the clutch and pressure plate to it. It will also have the master cylinder, slave cylinder, metal tubing, pedal assembly and shifter with cables.

Okay thanks alot, I heard alot about getting another ecu when the swap is done, do you think that will be needed?
