My car ran out of fuel on the Hwy. I tried to reset
the fuel switch in rear.  Still nothing.  Please help.

Running out of fuel in today's fuel injected cars is not a good thing to do. The reset switch is activated in case of accident, not running out of fuel. It may eventually start and it may not. If it doesn't start then my friend "tennisshoes" is likely correct in that you fried the fuel pump. Are you sure you ran out of fuel? Something else could cause it to stop running also.
