Asked by Shauna Jan 07, 2015 at 04:11 PM about the 1997 Ford Expedition 4 Dr XLT SUV

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

My car shuts off when I stop or when I put my car in reverse. It will idle hard and either shut off or kinda jerk forward abit. What can cause this problem? Please let me know what you think. It feels alittle hesitiant when I want to start driving and actually jerked forward once.
