98 eclipse 2.0 non turbo 5 speed

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

Car will crank but not turn over. I have
replaced fuel pump, spark plugs and wires
and new battery. Have yet to have my starer
tested but it seems good. No skipping or
slurring when trying to turn over. Please
help. Any info would be greatly appreciated

check clutch sensor, either first or second plug behind the clutch. look at the cam angle and the crank position sensors

    Eclipse has 158 K miles. runs great but uses an enormous amount of oil. Only minimum amount of smoke during hard acceleration.
