About a 1998 Mitsubishi Montero

Asked by jiaenter Jun 24, 2015 at 08:01 AM about the 1998 Mitsubishi Montero Base 4WD

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

There is a flex brake line in the rear center of my Mitsubishi Montero 3.5 displacement. I
have a mechanic working on the brake lines and he wants to remove the flex line and
convert it to a hard line. I am concerned because it is not the way the vehicle was
designed. What is your opinion. I need a quick answer because the work will be done this
morning.

Replace it with what it came with. You will be less likely to have problems in the future. It cam with a flex line for a reason.
