Should I buy this car?

Should I buy this car? Runs good, has
some surface rust, looks good underneath.
Not sure on the mileage yet. The seller is
asking $2,500.

Take it to a mechanic before buying ANYTHING. They need to check everything on it. A Mitsubishi 3000 GT is expensive to work on and parts are not easy to locate. If you are buying check the Carfax and any and all service records. These cars have a history of AC, electrical and transmission issues. Be careful

Price sounds fair. Need to ask when timing belt and water pump was replaced. If they don't know or it's been a while then plan on replacing these ASAP if you buy it.
