92 Mazda B2600i - AC not working, don't need, can I remove the AC belt and drive

AC don't work, (Core, other issues), and it's never hot here.
Can I remove the AC belt, doesn't seem to be connected to anything else??

If the AC belt ONLY services the AC compressor then yes you can remove it.
