My truck runs great except when I tried to pass someone

My truck runs great it's a 93 l e v 2600 I
Mazda pickup B series when I trying to pass
someone or if I try to take off fast by
pushing the accelerating accelerator pedal
to the floor all it does is grunt or maybe just
does not gain any RPMs I have a fuel filter
on order but I'm thinking more ECM or
timing I'm almost positive the timing is
correct but it's been going on for 4 months
and slowly declining in acceleration

Had similiar problem replaced igniter or coil whatever u wanna call it with one from junkyard and Wala Ilike I bought a new car. 8$

Johnny I did everything you said I bought a new ignition coil and I still have the same problem do you think it could be the computer for the engine

I had a 94 and it would slow down when you hit passing gear. I just think they are limited on speed. Had a friend who had a 94 ranger 4 speed, no speed after 70 mph. I swear there has to be a speed limiter on it or its in the rear end gearing set up.
