1997 eclipse 2.0 engine

Asked by GuruJMJ Mar 18, 2017 at 09:05 PM about the 1997 Mitsubishi Eclipse RS

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I was driving down the road and my car got hot so I
pulled over and let it cool down a little bit then put
water in the radiator. Waited and hour then drove it
down town and then the car stalled on me and the
steering wheel got tight. After that I waited 2 hours
and put more water in it then it wouldn't crank. Need
to know what it is so that I can buy the part
tomorrow.

Do you see where it is leaking coolant? The entire cooling system needs checked out, since its ran hot and not cranking I first would do a compression check on all cylinders to see if the head gasket blew.
