its a 4 wheel drive,as you are driving it sounds like its trying to go into 4 wheel mode,it
makes a kind of whirring ,grinding noise then if you slow down it makes a clunk sound
then stops the noise. i took the fuse out to the switch to see if maybe the switch was bad
but it sill did the same thing.. what could be the problem?

no it has and electronic selector switch with the setting options 2 whl H 4 whl H and 4 whl L it also has elect. overdrive on the gear selector,its an automatic trans
