spare tire and jack

Your owners manual should have this info. mopar.com has your owners manual, free to read online. The spare tire is under the vehicle, maybe about even with front door. Looking in the rear cargo area, behind panel on left side, jack/lug wrench. All I know is what your owners manual showed?

The owner's manual is wrong. There is no spare, jack, or lug wrench on our 2019 Grand Caravan even though the manual indicates that it does.

Our Newly acquired 2019 Dodge Grand Caravan came WITHOUT a spare tire, a jack, even a winch to lower down a spare tire. Only came with a cheap tire pump and fix-a-flat that is useless if your tire gets below 19 psi. If you get a flat on the road...You are SOL. Why is everything so CHEAP these days? Last thing I want to do after buying a somewhat new vehicle is search for spare tires, Jacks, Winches, Etc....

A car not coming with a spare tire is one of the most asinine things I have ever heard of. Whose brilliant idea was this?? NEVER would have bought this car if I knew this

All these "Green" EPA regulations are cutting mandatory equipment for vehicles, such as Jacks, Spare tires, Lug wrenches, even paper owner manuals in order to improve the miles-per-gallon for vehicles. They would rather you be stuck on the side of a dark road with a flat as long as you get an extra mile per gallon. This is what happens when Liberals push their agenda’s upon you. Everything is made cheap now. Washing machines that won’t fill completely with water. Dishwashers with no heating elements, Toilets that you have to flush twice, etc...Their Green New Deal agenda.

Check your driver side door jamb sticker for tire information. "SPARE - NONE"

It doesn't come with one and I have tried to order one on line. Every time I try I'm told Chrysler doesn't make it.

We were able to order a Spare tire, A Jack, Lug Wrench, and Plastic spare tire cover for our 2019 Dodge Grand Caravan. We ordered it as a kit from our local Dodge/Chrysler dealer. We ordered the "winch"to lower the tire online at Amazon or Ebay. (Was pretty easy to install) The spare tire kit took awhile to come in from the dealer but I feel much better when going on a road trip by having a spare tire. I can’t believe car companies are getting away with this…

Of the hundreds of DGC i have driven in the past few years. 2018, 2019, 2020. Some have the TOOL KIT, Spare Tire, winch, jack included...? But most do not..? All the same model.. Anyway the kit is $300. Or try salvage yards... Really is ridiculous ...!!

Selling a car with the owner's manual saying where the spare tire is and how to put it on without having it as part of the car should be a False ADVERTISEMENT!!!! and jail time for robbery!

I recently bought a used 2019 DGC and discovered the missing spare issue. A little exploring seems to indicate that the missing 2-part wrench would only work if a hole was drilled in the console to allow for operation of the missing winch to lower the missing donut. FAC seems to offer some separate parts at huge markups. But nothing like a complete kit. Now I am considering a hitch-mount bracket for a regular size mounted spare tire. that seems to be potentially quite cost-competitive with an expensive donut etc that is not really meant to be used for more than a very short time and distance. Not a pretty solution, but not a lot of folks seem to find DGC's pretty anyway. Although there are plenty of them on the roads. Seems like this could be an opportunity for a supplier of off-road accessories, if they could keep prices reasonable.

My used 2019 Grand Caravan came without the spare tire setup too. I managed to get most of the parts from Pick 'n Pull (awesome car parts chain) and the parts were in almost new condition. I went through Town & Countrys and GC 2008-2020. However, I got the bottom spare tire case new online (shop around--some online dealers' shipping is outrageous). Also, the jack, for some reason, is hard to find. I picked one up on Ebay used. Total cost $200--in 2023.

The bolt for the winch is actually under the console front storage area. But of course you need to spend the $300 for the kit.
