I am looking for some advice on mounting a front license plate on my 2019 grand caravan. There is no bracket there, only 2 small indentations which seem to be saying "drill me" but I don't want to be drilling holes in my car until I know what I'm doing. Anybody??

This is how a lot of cars are made. You can screw it directly to the bumper using those indentations.
I don't like it either but this is the way it is.
I thought that might be the situation. Just to be clear then, we are using self tapping type screws that are threading into the plastic of the bumper? And recommendation to size/type/length of screw? Thank you.
I would use sheet metal screws with the sharp point. Look for stainless steel screws at the hardware store or perhaps at the car parts store.
I believe Dodge sells some sort of 'cushion' that goes between plate and bumper cover. At least that was what the guy told me when I was looking for bracket for 2016. We just drilled out small pilot hole and used regular license plate screws.
Thanks for the answer. I went ahead and used the self threading screws I found in the license plate mounting area at an Auto Zone store. All done.

The bumper on my 2019 grand caravan is plastic, so no way to screw into its. i wired the plate to the front grill. Looks like crap, but there's no other solution. Thanks Dodge.

I actually did just screw into the plastic bumper cover. It was quite thick and the screws bit well and have held for several years with no problem.
