I'd say if it's clean it's worth it, How many miles? Paper work on the timing belt? How's the body? If all checks out, sounds good, always try to find a few flaws and talk down a couple hundred. If it were me I would look for a 99 as they have revised thrust bearings and less prone to crank walk.

id agree with taylor! getting a 99 would be the way to go. its lighter then the 95 engine and transmission r built stonger in the 99 then the 95 but finding one is the issue. but if the car is clean. lower/ decent miles any where past 140000 not a smart idea unless engine and transmission "both have been ither A. built up/ B. rebuilt" but id say 3800 is a steal altho you could talk the person down if you wanted to. to like 3200 if you wanted to maybe 3g...

It depends on the conditions of the car, if it’s in good shape and miles are low(unless it has been rebuilt) I would say go for it.
