Headlight warning buzzer not working

Asked by Lytesp33d Mar 20, 2021 at 04:56 PM about the 1994 Mitsubishi Expo 2 Dr LRV 2.4 Hatchback

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

Used to sometimes work, now not at all. Removed and tested
the buzzer itself and it does work. Changed ignition switch
for other reasons and didn't fix the buzzer issue. Not sure
where to look to find what activates the buzzer. Maybe a
relay?

Figured it out on my own, came down to the stupid door button that senses when to door is open or closed. It would work properly for the indicator on the dash saying the door is open, but when you wiggle it just slightly it would trigger the buzzer. Replaced it and all is good now.
