gmc loyalty rebate for owning a gmc

Asked by GuruNYCJD Oct 23, 2019 at 10:14 PM about the 2019 GMC Sierra 1500 Crew Cab 4WD

Question type: Shopping & Pricing

I tried to purchase a new gmc truck with the slt trim package. When I asked
for the $1,000 loyalty incentive that was on the cargurus details page for that
truck I was told by the dealership that that was wrong and should not have
been offered for that trim package. Is that correct? If so it should be removed!

This is more about checking the fine print, and the ad may have been for a different trim level or package and GM sets the rules. You just can't blanket assume every car gets the same incentive. Many times Loyalty Rebates are tied to leasing, not purchases, so you could have also misread the offer, maybe not. Regardless, GM dealers have a tool to check any VIN against incentives paid. You might want to nicely sit with the Sales Manager and have him check for you.
