Starter turns engine over faster than it normally does? If so do a compression check on all cylinders. Any having 0 psi will have bent valves due to your timing belt coming loose, jumping or breaking.

Yup..thats what happened to mine when timing jumped 2 teeth. All lights came on and couldnt key start it. As i was coasting i popped the clutch to start it and it rolled over but barely..ran real rough..found out all exhaust valves bent and broke a valve guide. Fun
