2005 PT Cruiser temperature

Asked by GuruC6WNY Mar 06, 2019 at 04:55 PM about the 2005 Chrysler PT Cruiser Touring Turbo Convertible FWD

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

Temperature warning light & chime come on. Can not replicate for
mechanic.Replaced radiator ,fluids & thermostat.Any ideas?

Is the fan coming on? When the engine starts to run hot and the thermostat opens a electric fan on the back of the radiator is supposed to come on. How about the water pump? If you have too much water mixed in the antifreeze will make it run hot. You shouldn't be adding any water because the inside of the engine might rust. It could be that also
