Honda Civic SE 2018

I cannot connect my Sirius Onyx radio by cable from my Honda USB port to
my radio's aux, using a 3.5mm male aux audio jack to usb 2.0 male charge
adapter cable. When I connect it a msg. comes on my radio display "bad
USB"

Perhaps the USB is bad? Try another cord and if that does not work take a drive to your dealer.

I reread your post. I think you may be using the wrong cord or combination of cords and adapters.
