From a 1-10 rate what level of difficulty to change a
transmission on a 1993 LS montero from one to another
vehicle

in my experience most transmissions require a long extension to get the top bolts otherwise as a person fasinated by cars it would be a 6 in difficulty mainly because the balancer bars in that kind of SUV and be careful not to loosen them with out help, i wish you the best of luck my friend
