Car keeps dying

Car keeps dying when I start it will only idle sometimes
and when I drive it it will die then jump back to life the
whole car will jolt and sometimes squeal the tires have
no clue what it could be

Start by testing the throttle position sensor with a multimeter, a analog one is preferred over digital as the needle can pick up dropouts and fluctuations that are missed by a digital readout
