Question type: Maintenance & Repair

It started out with the tail lights not working but the brake lights worked, I turned the
parking lights on to check the tail lights and noticed that the headlights were on as well
with JUST the parking light switch on. What would cause this to happen?

I suspect your multi-function switch and or the headlamp switch. You also have a park lamp relay which bsically controls most, if not all of the exterior lights. Question. Do the license plate lights work? If not check the park lamp relay. Check the trailer/camper adapter for power. It's should be a direct feed to the multi-function switch.
