if you can get into the car from the cargo door then climb over the seats you should be able to get up to the doors and open them.

Is the exterior handle broken (won't open the door) or is the remote not working? There is no gear on the door handle. A clip on the handle usually breaks and the exterior handle just flops up and down with no resistance. The entire exterior handle needs to be changed and is available through aftermarket sources. It is held on by two nuts which can be accessed once the inside panel is removed.
