Fastest 1/4 mile time?!

I would have to believe that low 15s would be the norm for a completely stock Mustang GT.
ive gotta 1988 i ran a 14.9 before i added a couple hundred hp and now i am running 10.4 cinsistantly
for a 1997 mustang gt completely bone stock...the time would be close to low 15s or like 14.9, 14.8. So that exhuast must be doing something.
i got a 96 GT coupe and ive got oldschool (needs replacing now) magnaflow exhaust setup... intake, superchip with custom premium tune, stage 1 comp cam (older now...), she peaks on pump gas at 260.51 rwhp (9 months ago hahah) but the part thats nice is its a square torque curve... from 2650rpm to the end of the pull at 6100 rpm its putting down 400 ftlbs/tq i cant be quoted on what it ran because i dont have the slips but i hit 13.87. it was high 13s... and bone stock i would think high 14 with a good launch... the exhaust setup might be netting u 20 whp at best...
Be more specific...stock as in 100% stock?, stock npi engine? what? Generally a 5 speed NPI car wont do any better than mid 14s on street tires. I know of people who have ran 13.6-13.7 with just bolt ons and weight reduction in a NPI gt. My auto ran 14.5 with long tubes and 3.73s...then got down to 14.0 with pi intake, o/r h and tune. now runs 12s blown
i ran a 13.7 with a 98 gt after a few grands in the engine, it was pushing 460 hp but i sold it about a year ago
15.2 i think but 14.6 isnt even bad at all for that to just have an exhaust keep it up
Yeah I have 2 1/2 exhaust starting at the manifolds with no cats and two knock off mufflers. Its a 5 speed manual and i was running on street tires. And everything on the engine and computer is stock. I do have a cobra suspension set up on it and i think that might of helped my launch.
ya i got a 94 svt cobra 5.0 bored out to a 5.6L full lengths twin turbo did the 1/4 mile is 10.5 beat that and get back to me

hello, I have a 98 and was wondering what you did to pick up all the hp Steve
ON THE CHEAP? UNDERDRIVE PULLYS , AIR INTAKE K&N ,THROTTLE BODY,SUB-FRAMES, 3:73 GEARS,STIFFER LOWER ARMS FOR THE REAR -STEEDA , CHIP , U WILL BE 13:20'S RESPECTABLE !!
Must be an automatic, stock PI's put about 225 to the ground and run 13.9-14.2 all day long. A PI putting 260 to the wheels will get the quarter in about 13.5, add 4.10 gears and you can get it to a 13.2 pretty easy.
4.10 gears are much better, the downside is when you hit trap speeds over 110 in the quarter... you'll have to shift to 5th gear to finish the run. But for street racing, can't be beat.
you bored out nearly 48 cubic inches of motor? Wow, does your mechanic have an ocean front property in Kentucky too?
all u need is 390 gears and eaton difer with progressive shot 100 line brake and can b in 11.5
