Many newer vehicles have nitrogen in the tires instead of air. Maybe that's what you were smelling? The good news is you can just refill the tires with good old fashioned air. Hope that helps! Jim
Sorry, Nitrogen does not have an odor. A sulfur smell might be from the exhaust?

Air is 78% Nitrogen. Remember that when they want to charge you extra for N2 in your tires.
