Asked by Kendra Jul 04, 2020 at 09:06 PM about the 2006 Nissan Altima 2.5 S

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

Ok so i tried to put freon in my altima but as i was putting it
in it was coming out just as fast up near the radiator. Any
ides on what it could be the car just blows hot air it tries to
blow cold air but it cant due to not being able to add the
freon. My 06 Nissan Altima is actually a 2.5 S.E but that
wasnt an option.

If in fact the refrigerant was escaping from the system up near the radiator tells me you have a large leak. Have a garage repair the leak for you and reflll the AC system so you can be cool again. You would need a vacuum pump, AC gauges and hoses and know how to refill the system properly.
