will a hole in the top of the coolant reservoir prevent coolant in the reservoir from feeding the radiator?

Asked by clintherron Nov 25, 2014 at 07:25 AM about the 2005 Nissan Altima 2.5 S

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

The top corner of the reservoir has a hole in it, due to an accident, and the radiator was low of coolant even though the reservoir had some in it.

The tank has a vent in it anyway. A hole in the tank would not effect the functionality of the system.
