Exhaust manifold

Asked by Sweetie81 May 20, 2017 at 07:17 PM about the 2005 Nissan Altima 2.5 S

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I just did my exhaust manifold on my 2005 Nissan
Altima and the car drives better. But now after
driving it 20 min it smells of plastic burning and
some smoke was coming from the driver side
hood on my windshield. Is this because of the new
part?

You better look to see that nothing is laying anywhere on the exhaust like wiring, or something that can burn.
