Question type: Maintenance & Repair

so today i was driving to work when i started hearing this loud noise on my
2005 Nissan Altima S 2.5. that sounded like if my engine fell off and i was
drawing it or if like all 4 tires were flat. so the Engine Soon light came on, it
wasn't blinking it was steady. what does this mean?

Auto parts stores can do a general read on codes, but understand that the sensor giving the report is saying something is wrong with something and the sensor itself can be fine and everything that has to do with that system needs looked at. Come back with the code or look up all possible causes for that code to set, Also could very well mean its time for a full servicing, Plugs Plug wires, oil & filter change, Air filter, fuel filter, Coolant change, Check for vacuum leaks ect.
