Almost anything is possible ( $$$ ) but it's usually best to go with what the vehicle was designed for . All the electronics will have to go with it and an 02 sensor in the exhaust . Thankfully the key chip and transponders didn't come out till about 95 but your 93 computer may still have it . But if the 93 is an old worn motor it makes even less sense .,
In a round about way it is, but you will need electronics, transmission and redo the driveline and maybe som engine mount rework to get it up and running. Not going to be as simple as plug and play.
Do you have a "Choke" light on the dash of the '87? If so, it's not computer controlled. The '93 model is definitely computer controlled. If you have a "Check Engine" light (written in words) on the '87 it is computer controlled and both will be OBD I. Whatever you do, don't try to use anything newer than a '94 model. A '95 could be either OBD I or OBD II and 1996 and newer is OBD II. Hope that helps! Jim
