Shift and lock solenoid or rear output sensor. Do you have a check engine light on?

Well it gets easier knowing that your check engine light is on. You see the trans is also linked to the tcu and you can get codes the same way. Now you told me that.. I can tell you it can be either turbine sensor or the oss sensor.

Both cause the vehicle to go into limp mode and will not allow the vehicle to pass 1st gear. The reason for that because the magnet starts at 1. So it sends a check engine light because the engine is reving and trans cannot perform to keep with engine. Thus check engine light.

Just took it to the Townsend Nissan Dealership and the said it was the Shifter assembly and they put it in and it drives perfect
