Car won't start but turns over

Asked by Guru5V7FK Jan 07, 2018 at 02:21 PM about the 2005 Nissan Maxima SE

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I have an 05 maxima that was running fine then all
of a sudden I got the CEL light and the codes 0021,
0300, and 0420. I cheked the oil and noticed it was
all the way up the dipstick. Oil looks used but not
really different. Was really wondering if anyone had
ideas as to what all 3 of these have in common?
Car won't start but does turn over and with gas
pressed acts like it wants to start.

it has a bad run rich issue which means its dumping fuel that's whats on the dipstick p0300 is a random miss fire code and the p0420 is a catalytic converter code and the reason it wont start is because it is getting way to much fuel. everything to me seems related.could be a injector module that failed.

there's no way to get more oil in the engine unless someone added it. P0 021 makes sense with the running rich issue it is for sure a timing/fuel issue.
