CR-V battery discharging.

Asked by GuruSDPXL May 12, 2019 at 02:04 AM about the 2019 Honda CR-V EX-L AWD

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

Bought CR-V from Findlay Honda in Flagstaff, AZ. on 6 Mar 2019.  Drove it
home (3 hours) and parked it in garage.  All OK.  Next morning the battery
was dead.  Charged it and drove it about  50 miles.  Returned to garage.
Three days later, battery dead again.  Have resorted to charging it often.  It
loses 50% of charge in 24 hours!  This, from a brand new $34,000 car.  I
hope someone can provide an answer to my problem.  Thanks.

IDK if this is even possible, but I am a female lol, could an alternator be HALF bad?? The only reason I ask, is because I have had cars that things would be shorting out causing them to work and sometimes not work...if that makes sense
