Honda CR-V A/C compressor shaft seal leak

Honda has just issued a recall notice for 2017-2022 CR-Vs having  oil or
refrigerant leaks from the A/C compressor.  
When I took my CR-V to the dealership to get fixed last spring, the recall
notice hadn't yet been issued.  They told me that I needed a new discharge
hose and to have the AC recharged.  This cost me $850.  There invoice
doesn't mention the compressor or a shaft seal leak.  Are these two separate
problems?  Is Honda now going to refuse to give me a credit for the work I
had done?  Any advice from you is appreciated.

AC compressor and AC hoses are two different items. Replacing one doesn’t require replacing the other. So don’t expect anything to be returned on the hose work.
