Question type: Maintenance & Repair

After a snow storm, the doors freezed. Now that the doors all unfroze, the rear sliding door
still wont open from the outside however, it can still open and close properly from the

Maybe the outside handle was tweaked from using it too heavily while trying to open that frozen door- did you use a gentle hand when trying to open it? or did you have a 500 pound gorilla grunting while trying to rip the handle from the door? Just a guess, but a mechanic may have to go into the door to see if the handle is broken or if a connecting rod is bent

I had this problem with my 2007 Nissan Quest- I used https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9AzHPz7zLPQ - it was easy and took about 15 minutes

There's a micro switch attached to the handle on the inside it needs to be replaced.
