Nissan sentra jerking
Asked by Jankid4me Apr 03, 2010 at 03:22 AM about the 2005 Nissan Sentra 1.8 S
Question type: Maintenance & Repair
My Sentra gives a jerk at about 20-25 mph initially when I start driving. But once I drive about 2-3 miles, it gets back to normal and no more jerks. Any idea what could be the problem?

Wow that's a strange one. But try to solve the problem by eliminating possible causes for this issue. I would try the free stuff like rotating the tires
i have the same problem with my sentra.... do you know what is wrong..??
Did you fix the issue? if yes, how?
we recently had one of those in our shop with the same problem it ended up being a wheel speed sensor and they run about' $250t
There is a Re-Call for all Nissan Model that came with the infamous CVT TRANSMISSION. From year 2000 to 2011. Just take your Nissan to a approved dealer and run a Diagnostic check and later request a Pre-Call form since there is a Law suit for all those vehicles. There is another but not resolve yet in the court for models 2012 to 2015. I have a 2014 Sentra with the same problems, took it to Nissan and they gave me 50% discount on a brand new transmission, I end up paying $2,000 for everything. Now I have proof that my car had the same problems and will join the Law firm that has the case.
My vehicle Nissan Sentra gxi doesn't have power when trying to accelerate and can only drive at 60/70km
My mass wasn't plug all the way in plug it in and reset the computer at a shop problem solved power again
Mass Air Flow Sensor replacement on Nissan Sentra 2008 2.0L. This should fix the problem
