Why wont my parking light shut off Nissan xterra 05?

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

It is both the front and rear parking lights, Ive checked fuses and the switch on the break
pedal any ideas?

Does the vehicle have aftermarket trailer wiring? If it does try disconnecting it to see if it solves your problem.

The only thing that isnt OEM is a relay that recently went out for the ECM other than that this vehicle is stock.

If you look this problem up on Identifix, their Nissan tech says to remove the tail light and parking light fuses, and if the lights go out, then replace the IPDM. I did that and the problem remains!
