04 Nissan altima

OK so I get into my customers' car put it in reverse
its fine it will roll back easy, however if I put it in
drive I can mash the gas down to the floor board
and only can get up to 20 mph and no higher for a
while where should I start

I Need To Know, What To Do Also Mine is doing the same thing except if i Let off the gas peddle in jst drops speed in the brakes get stiff to where you can barley push them down it locks up, but i also have to stick a screwdriver in the gear shift release to move from Park to reverse and into Drive then to Park it again in my dome lights won't work in brake lights work when it wants too what should i do? Please help
