Where is oil dipstick on 83 Cadillac Deville ?

If you can,t find it after looking along both outside edges of the engine. It may just be missing. It does not affect the operation of the car or engine If that is the case, the tube it goes in should still be there. Again, look along the sides of the engine but this time you are looking for a small tube with an opening facing up. It should be about the diameter of a soda straw. Happy hunting!
