Nissan Murano Car Jerking or Shutting down

I have a weird Issue with my Murano. After driving for 15 mins on open road
it lurches like a single hiccup. If I'm in the city and I come to an intersection
or round about it shuts down. It only does it once per trip. I've had it a the
mechanics 3 times and they just reset engine light that comes on when this
happens. Now after getting no decent answers from the mechanics the gear
change won't happen when I flick it from Drive to manual. It just stays on D.
Apart from that it drives great. Plenty of power.

What was the code? Did they even try to run a live data scan? Second problem maybe the gear selector switch going bad as it should show when you select manual shift mode.

I think your alternator needs replaced! My Murano was lurching and jerky and had little power with shifting problems. The alternator was bad and that caused my battery to go bad. Since replacing both now it drives and runs great!
